Basketball 2025
Dunellen Recreation Winter Basketball is back!

Dunellen Recreation's Youth Basketball Program registration is now open and being offered for children in grades K-6. The eight week program begins Saturday, January 4 and wraps up on 2/22. Players will do practice drills for skills development and learn the basics of game playing.

Registration:
Deadline: 12/6
Registration cost: $60
Non-residents registration fee: $75

*After 12/6, a $20 late fee will be added to registration and Rec t-shirt is not guaranteed


Schedule 
Saturdays 1/4-2/22
Kindergarten and Grade 1: Saturdays 8:30-9:20 AM at the Faber School gym

Grades 2-4: Saturdays 9:30-10:20 AM or Saturdays 10:30-11:20 AM at the Faber School gym. Players will be notified via email by the end of December of their assigned time on Saturdays of 9:30 or 10:30 AM

Grades 5-6: Saturdays 11:30 AM-12:30 PM and Mondays 7:15-8:30 PM (Saturday practices are at the Faber School gym; Monday practices are at the Dunellen High School gym, which can be accessed from an exterior stairway at the rear of the building.) There will be no Monday night basketball on 1/15 and 2/19. The last Monday session will be held 2/24.


Parent/Guardian Volunteers
The Recreation Youth Basketball Program needs your help! If you are interested in volunteering to assist in running drills on the court, please contact Recreation Program Coordinator Kelly Seader at kseader@dunellenborough.com.


Refund Policy
If you wish to withdraw registration, you may do so prior to December 16 for a refund of the registration fee minus a $15 administrative fee. After that date, no refunds will be issued. There will be no refunds issued for canceled or missed practices; the Rec Dept will make an effort to make up practices that have been canceled.
