Spring Youth Tennis Academy
Swing into spring with Dunellen Recreation!
Get ready to serve, rally, and have fun at our Spring Youth Tennis Academy — the perfect program for young players who are new to tennis or looking to improve their skills in a supportive and energetic environment.
This five-week program focuses on developing:
- Strategy and tactics
- Athletic movement
- Proper technique
- Mental and emotional game
- Sportsmanship and character
Sessions are offered on Mondays or Saturdays.
Program Instructor
This program is supervised by Larry Dillon,
PTR International Master of Tennis – Youth Development,
USTA National Trainer and USTA Eastern Lead Clinician.
Session Options and Times
Mondays – Starting June 1
- Ages 6–8: 4:30–5:30 PM
- Ages 9–11: 5:30–6:30 PM
- Ages 12 and up: 6:30–7:30 PM
Saturdays – Starting June 6
- Ages 6–8: 9:00–10:00 AM
- Ages 9–11: 10:00–11:00 AM
- Ages 12 and up: 11:00 AM–12:00 PM
Registration Information
- Fee: $90 per player
(Includes one five-week session on Monday or Saturday)
- Registration Deadline: April 1
Important Information
Dunellen Recreation reserves the right to cancel lessons due to rain or wet courts. Every effort will be made to reschedule canceled sessions; however, no refunds will be issued.
