Adult Pickleball - Adult Pickleball | November 2025-March 2026 session
Adult Pickleball:Whether you are new to the sport or experienced, come solo or grab a friend or two and join us for open play time at the Dunellen High School (DHS) gym.The courts will be open from 7:30-9:30 PM on Tuesdays and Wednesdays between November 12 and March 11. Play will be on a first come, first served basis. Players should bring their own paddle and ball. The DHS gym is accessible from the exterior stairway in the rear of the high school building, which can be reached from Dunellen Avenue. Pickleball will not be held on 11/26, 12/24 and 12/31.Pre-registration is required. Registration is $0 for Dunellen residents but registration is required. $15 for non-residents. Space is limited. If dates are cancelled due to inclement weather or other reasons, registration fees will not be pro-rated nor refunded. Recreation Commissioner Elena Buccino will be on site overseeing the program. Adult Yoga with Dana Downing | Fall 2025Dunellen Recreation is offering a beginner Hatha yoga class for adults with instructor Dana Downing at the Dunellen Senior Center. This class is open to students of all fitness levels. Dana’s hopes for her students are to help them destress and relax through guided movement, postures and breathing exercises. Dana has been a certified yoga instructor since 2015 and has been teaching yoga in North Plainfield and Dunellen ever since. Class size is limited so register early! Registration deadline is 11/21. This class is open to students of all fitness levels. Dana’s hopes for her students are to help them destress and relax through guided movement, postures and breathing exercises. Adult Pickleball:Whether you are new to the sport or experienced, come solo or grab a friend or two and join us for open play time at the Dunellen High School (DHS) gym.The courts will be open from 7:30-9:30 PM on Tuesdays and Wednesdays between November 12 and March 11. Play will be on a first come, first served basis. Players should bring their own paddle and ball. The DHS gym is accessible from the exterior stairway in the rear of the high school building, which can be reached from Dunellen Avenue. Pickleball will not be held on 11/26, 12/24 and 12/31.Pre-registration is required. Registration is $0 for Dunellen residents but registration is required. $15 for non-residents. Space is limited. If dates are cancelled due to inclement weather or other reasons, registration fees will not be pro-rated nor refunded. Recreation Commissioner Elena Buccino will be on site overseeing the program. Refund PolicyWithdrawals before December 15 will receive a refund minus a $15 administrative fee. No exceptions. After December 15, no refunds will be issued.No refunds for missed or canceled sessions. (We’ll make every effort to reschedule any cancellations.)
