Order a Hometown Heroes Banner - Order A Banner
The Borough of Dunellen is pleased to offer the Hometown Heroes Banner Program as a tribute to past and present service members of Dunellen. Banners will be hung from light poles on North and N. Washington Avenues in downtown Dunellen from May to November.Our next round of orders will be hung up in the downtown for Memorial Day. Order deadline is April 1, 2026.Banner DetailsEach banner will be 18" x 36" heavy vinyl, printed on both sides and will display:* Honoree's photograph* Full name* Rank* Branch of military* Years of service* Medals/awards* Sponsor of bannerAfter you complete your order, please email a quality image of the honoree to Recreation Director Kelly Seader at kseader@dunellenborough.com. Adult Pickleball - Adult Pickleball | November 2025-March 2026 session
Adult Pickleball:Whether you are new to the sport or experienced, come solo or grab a friend or two and join us for open play time at the Dunellen High School (DHS) gym.The courts will be open from 7:30-9:30 PM on Tuesdays and Wednesdays between November 12 and March 11. Play will be on a first come, first served basis. Players should bring their own paddle and ball. The DHS gym is accessible from the exterior stairway in the rear of the high school building, which can be reached from Dunellen Avenue. Pickleball will not be held on 11/26, 12/24 and 12/31.Pre-registration is required. Registration is $0 for Dunellen residents but registration is required. $15 for non-residents. Space is limited. If dates are cancelled due to inclement weather or other reasons, registration fees will not be pro-rated nor refunded. Recreation Commissioner Elena Buccino will be on site overseeing the program.
