7:00 PM - 8:00 PM	Adult Yoga with Dana Downing Fall 2024 - Adult Yoga with Dana Downing Adult Yoga with Dana Downing | Fall 2024Dunellen Recreation is offering a beginner Hatha yoga class for adults with instructor Dana Downing at the Dunellen Senior Center. This class is open to students of all fitness levels. Dana’s hopes for her students are to help them destress and relax through guided movement, postures and breathing exercises. Dana has been a certified yoga instructor since 2015 and has been teaching yoga in North Plainfield and Dunellen ever since. Class size is limited so register early! Registration deadline is 8/31. Players should bring their own paddle and ball. The DHS gym is accessible from the exterior stairway in the rear of the high school building, which can be reached from Dunellen Avenue. Pickleball will not be held on 11/27, 12/24 and 12/25.Pre-registration is required. Registration is $0 for Dunellen residents but registration is required.  $15 for non-residents. Space is limited. If dates are cancelled due to inclement weather or other reasons, registration fees will not be pro-rated nor refunded. Recreation Commissioner Elena Buccino will be on site overseeing the program. 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM	Winter Flag Football League 2024 - Winter Flag Football for Grades 4-8 Register now for the Winter Flag Football League for grades 4-8! Come out and learn the basics of flag football in a fun and competitive environment. Skills to be taught include throwing, catching, agility, offensive strategies & defensive techniques. Each 90 minute session will be run by Dunellen HS football coaches, current and former players from the Dunellen Destroyers football team and parent volunteers. This is an outdoor recreation sport so proper attire is required for participation. Players should dress for the cold weather (no scarves) and wear gloves that can handle a football and sneakers or cleats. Sessions may be cancelled due to inclement weather; registration fees will not be prorated or refunded due to missed sessions.Both residents and non-residents are encouraged to register. This league is a great opportunity for players from all over to enjoy playing football!
