The Borough of Dunellen is pleased to offer the Hometown Heroes Banner Program as a tribute to past and present service members of Dunellen. Banners will be hung from light poles on North and N. Washington Avenues in downtown Dunellen from May to November.Our next round of orders will be hung up in the downtown for Veterans Day. 2025 Youth Baseball and Softball - Coach Pitch
Registration is now open for Dunellen Recreation's Youth Baseball (ages 4-8) and Softball (grades 1-8) programs. The Opening Day parade, ceremony and games are scheduled for Saturday, April 26!Registration Deadline: Monday March 10For players who register by 3/10, registration includes a team shirt and baseball cap/softball visor. After 3/10, registrants will be assessed a $20 late fee and will not be guaranteed a team shirt or cap/visor. EquipmentAll players are required to provide their own batting helmet, bat, mitt and sneakers or baseball/softball shoes with rubber cleats. Shorts are not allowed. VolunteersAll coaches for this program are volunteers; we can only offer as many teams as we have volunteers. Adult Yoga with Dana Downing Spring 2025 - Adult Yoga with Dana Downing
Adult Yoga with Dana Downing | Spring 2025Dunellen Recreation is offering a beginner Hatha yoga class for adults with instructor Dana Downing at the Dunellen Senior Center. This class is open to students of all fitness levels. Dana’s hopes for her students are to help them destress and relax through guided movement, postures and breathing exercises. Dana has been a certified yoga instructor since 2015 and has been teaching yoga in North Plainfield and Dunellen ever since. Class size is limited so register early! Registration deadline is 3/28. During this five-week program, players will develop tennis skills such as strategy and tactics, athleticism, technique, mental/emotional game, and character. Adult Yoga with Dana Downing | Spring 2025Dunellen Recreation is offering a beginner Hatha yoga class for adults with instructor Dana Downing at the Dunellen Senior Center. This class is open to students of all fitness levels. Dana’s hopes for her students are to help them destress and relax through guided movement, postures and breathing exercises. Dana has been a certified yoga instructor since 2015 and has been teaching yoga in North Plainfield and Dunellen ever since. Class size is limited so register early! Registration deadline is 3/28. For over 50 years, Dunellen Recreation has been the go-to destination for an unforgettable summer experience! Our camp offers the perfect mix of fun and adventure for kids aged 5-12, with activities including playground playtime, organized games, science experiments, water play, scavenger hunts, movie days, field trips, and even walking trips to the local ice cream shop. Space is limited, so register early to secure your spot and give your child a summer to remember!Registration DeadlineRegistration is required at least 7 business days prior to your preferred day or week of camp, space permitting. For trips, registration is required at least 14 days in advance. Dunellen Recreation needs time to arrange for proper staffing and to plan for activities.
