Dunellen Recreation Winter Basketball is back!Dunellen Recreation's Youth Basketball Program registration is now open and being offered for children in grades K-6. The eight week program begins Saturday, January 4 and wraps up on 2/22. Players will do practice drills for skills development and learn the basics of game playing. Winter Flag Football League 2024-2025 - Winter Flag Football for Grades 4-8
Register now for the Winter Flag Football League for grades 4-8!
Come out and learn the basics of flag football in a fun and competitive environment. Skills to be taught include throwing, catching, agility, offensive strategies & defensive techniques. Each 90 minute session will be run by Dunellen HS football coaches, current and former players from the Dunellen Destroyers football team and parent volunteers. This is an outdoor recreation sport so proper attire is required for participation. Players should dress for the cold weather (no scarves) and wear gloves that can handle a football and sneakers or cleats. Sessions may be cancelled due to inclement weather; registration fees will not be prorated or refunded due to missed sessions.Both residents and non-residents are encouraged to register. This league is a great opportunity for players from all over to enjoy playing football!

This class is open to students of all fitness levels. Dana’s hopes for her students are to help them destress and relax through guided movement, postures and breathing exercises. Dana has been a certified yoga instructor since 2015 and has been teaching yoga in North Plainfield and Dunellen ever since. Class size is limited so register early! Registration deadline is 8/31. Winter Flag Football League 2024-2025 - Winter Flag Football for Grades 4-8
Register now for the Winter Flag Football League for grades 4-8!
Come out and learn the basics of flag football in a fun and competitive environment. Skills to be taught include throwing, catching, agility, offensive strategies & defensive techniques. Each 90 minute session will be run by Dunellen HS football coaches, current and former players from the Dunellen Destroyers football team and parent volunteers. This is an outdoor recreation sport so proper attire is required for participation. Players should dress for the cold weather (no scarves) and wear gloves that can handle a football and sneakers or cleats. Sessions may be cancelled due to inclement weather; registration fees will not be prorated or refunded due to missed sessions.Both residents and non-residents are encouraged to register. This league is a great opportunity for players from all over to enjoy playing football!

This class is open to students of all fitness levels. Dana’s hopes for her students are to help them destress and relax through guided movement, postures and breathing exercises. 2025 Youth Basketball - Basketball for Grades 2-4
Dunellen Recreation Winter Basketball is back!Dunellen Recreation's Youth Basketball Program registration is now open and being offered for children in grades K-6. The eight week program begins Saturday, January 4 and wraps up on 2/22. Players will do practice drills for skills development and learn the basics of game playing. Registration:Deadline: 12/6Registration cost: $60Non-residents registration fee: $75 *After 12/6, a $20 late fee will be added to registration and Rec t-shirt is not guaranteedSchedule Saturdays 1/4-2/22Kindergarten and Grade 1: Saturdays 8:30-9:20 AM at the Faber School gymGrades 2-4: Saturdays 9:30-10:20 AM or Saturdays 10:30-11:20 AM at the Faber School gym. Players will be notified via email by the end of December of their assigned time on Saturdays of 9:30 or 10:30 AMGrades 5-6: Saturdays 11:30 AM-12:30 PM and Mondays 7:15-8:30 PM (Saturday practices are at the Faber School gym; Monday practices are at the Dunellen High School gym, which can be accessed from an exterior stairway at the rear of the building.)
